The New York Giants have officially signed their entire 2024 rookie draft class, with linebacker Arvell Reese being the final player to put pen to paper. Reese, a sixth-round pick out of Ohio State, inked his four-year rookie deal this week, completing the team's draft haul.
Reese was selected with the 183rd overall pick in April's draft. During his time with the Buckeyes, he appeared in 38 games, recording 67 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He is expected to contribute primarily on special teams while developing behind the Giants' veteran linebacker core. The team views him as a physical, downhill player who can add depth to the middle of the defense.
With Reese's signing, the Giants have now secured all six of their draft picks under contract. The class includes first-round wide receiver Malik Nabers, second-round safety Tyler Nubin, third-round cornerback Andru Phillips, fourth-round tight end Theo Johnson, and fifth-round running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. The team also signed several undrafted free agents in the weeks following the draft.
The Giants are set to open training camp later this month, where all rookies will compete for roster spots and playing time.
